My studio time shifted to the early morning hours while the children were off school for the summer. Waking, and beginning work even before making a cup of tea, became a steady meditative rhythm that brought with it new possibilities.

My studio wall gradually becoming a pathwork tracing a cycle of exploration. Where gesture and bodily felt sense translate into intense concentrationd of marks made.

Eventuallly as with all things, the impetus to continue begins to wane, bringing with it a stillness that marks a feeling of completion.

So now, as that which will fall away or be carried forwards still works its way through my awareness, there is th pause that in time expands into the readiness to begin again.
